Rev. Brevetta Jordan is a native and resident of Front Royal, VA, and a graduate of Warren County High School; she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Hampton University, and a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois, graduating from each with the highest honors. After starting her career in Dallas, TX, she returned home to Virginia.
Rev. Jordan is certified as a City Planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners with experience working for various municipal governments and non-profits in the fields of architecture, facilities management, development review, land use planning and covenants administration.
Rev. Jordan’s destiny has been divinely directed from building the physical environment to building the Kingdom of God, earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Theology/Christian Education from Life Christian University’s Northern Virginia Extension Campus in Culpeper, VA, where she also served as an associate instructor. Rev. Jordan was licensed for ministry in 2004 and ordained in 2006 through the Fellowship of Covenant Ministries International in Culpeper, VA. She has served in the ministry, as a Sunday School Teacher, Children’s Ministry Leader, Special Events Coordinator, and in various church leadership positions, including Elder, Spiritual Advisor, and Church Treasurer.
Currently, Rev. Jordan is fulfilling her kingdom service as an Associate Minister at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Front Royal, VA. Rev. Jordan is anointed to teach and preach Biblically-based revelation, as well as present lectures and other presentations inspiring and challenging diverse inter- and non-denominational audiences at conferences, churches services, and community events. Her kingdom assignment is to equip the saints in the Body of Christ for the works of ministry.
Rev. Jordan has served her community by holding membership and offices on the boards of various civic and community organizations.
